3. Remove the Ethernet card from its packaging.
4. On the Ethernet card, make sure the thumbscrews are extended outward,
align the card with the card guides in the open Z-BUS expansion slot, and
slide the card into slot.
5. Firmly press both ends of the card faceplate to seat it on the Z-BUS
connector.
CAUTION: DO NOT FORCE CARD IN SLOT.
6. Tighten the thumbscrews to finger-tight to secure the card.
7. Reapply power and connect the Cresnet and Ethernet cables.
IP Setup
This section provides step-by-step instructions to configure a control system to
communicate over Ethernet using standard static IP configurations. The following
illustration shows a simplified example of a possible IP setup. The control system
and router are assigned IP numbers using Viewport. The external router is not
configured using Viewport.
